Senator Bill Brady welcomes more than 80 residents from the 44th Senate District to the State House Inn April 21 as part of his annual “44th District Day” in Springfield.

A variety of activities was planned for participants, including lunch at the State House Inn north of the Capitol; an opportunity to view Senate and House of Representatives committee or floor action; a presentation by Dan Long, Executive Director of the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability; and a presentation by Jim Dahlquist of the Illinois Auditor General’s Office.

An early-evening reception was also planned for the Pasfield House Inn, an 1896 Georgian-style residence, located west of the Capitol, that has been designated a Springfield Landmark.
